Jim Scharnhorst

Jim Scharnhorst serves as vice president of sales and marketing of Bennett Forest Industries.

Jim supervises lumber product sales and marketing activities. Jim earned a B.S. degree in marketing from the University of Idaho in 1973.  He serves on the Western Wood Products Association’s products support committee, the North American Wholesale Lumber Association’s trader market committee, and is a member of the Machine Stress Rated Lumber Producers Council and the Hayden Lake Country Club.

Scharnhorst is a runner and cyclist and enjoys golf, basketball and racquetball.  He and his wife of 32 years, Linda, have two grown sons.

Pat Carper

Pat Carper serves as sales representative & traffic manager for Bennett Forest Industries.  Pat’s responsibilities include managing accounts, selling all product lines for the company, and managing the traffic function. 

Pat has been in the lumber industry for 30 years.  He worked in various sawmills while attending college and earned a degree in business 1978 from Eastern Washington University. 

Pat began his career with Bennett Forest Industries in April of 2002.

Pat is an avid golfer, and enjoys boating and hiking.  He has two grown children.

Andy Dunham

Andy Dunham is a sales representative for Bennett Forest Industries.  Andy is responsible for selling all product lines to BFI partner accounts.  Andy’s industry experience includes managing the lumber department for a major distribution company.  He graduated from Washington State University in 2002.  He began his career with Bennett Forest Industries in 2006.

Andy is an avid hunter and enjoys fishing and golf.  He and his wife Amber have two young sons.
